Gathering Lake Outfitters Offers You a
Wilderness Hunting Experience Like No Other!

Gathering Lake Outfitters are the Black Bear Hunting experts in Northern Ontario. Black bear hunting is at the very core of our livelihood, and not just some seasonal sideline. As a result, Gathering Lake Outfitters are fully committed to ensuring that your black bear hunt turns into the most complete and memorable Canadian experience you will ever have. Our camp is very remote with hundreds of miles of logging roads for great access. We have a great reputation for getting big bears and active sites. The local region has a bear population exceeding the 150,000 mark. Our camp is ideally located right in the middle of around 2,000,000 acres of exclusive bear land. Gathering Lake Outfitters also provides guided Timber Wolf hunting expeditions as well as Archery Moose hunts and Grouse hunting for our guests and patrons.

Join us for a Fishing Vacation of a Lifetime at
Gathering Lake Outfitters!

Gathering Lake Outfitters invites you to join us this year for a fishing vacation in Northern Ontario’s pristine wilderness. Teeming with Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Perch and Whitefish, the waters of Gathering Lake Outfitters will not disappoint even the most savvy angler.

As a catch and release lodge, we always strive to protect our fishery. This means that we kindly require our guests to release all walleye larger than 17 inches. Don’t worry, there’s always plenty of 16 inch walleye that you can keep for breakfast and/or shore lunch. This conservation policy is designed to improve the fishing experience for our guests for generations to follow. While we’ve incorporated some guidelines for Walleye fishing, opportunities for other species abound throughout waters. We recommend you fish with a guide for the first day or two so you can get a feel for how the bite works.
